It had been a busy day so far. Sturgis was a great way to keep herself busy. Her, Lacey, and Alyssa had just finished their part in the Red, White, & Blue ride. She told the two to go on without her. There was something she needed to do. An apology letter to write so to speak. Her gift had never been expressing herself face to face. It always came out better in writing for her. When she got back to the hotel room she got changed into her workout shorts and sports bra that way she could meet up with Cullen for her training session. Sitting at the desk chair she slipped her running shoes on before turning towards the table top. Grabbing up the pen and the pad of paper she started to write. Everything she had wanted to tell him would be written on there. A true apology no one would ever really expect from the Wild Child.
When she was finished writing the letter she would fold it up and put it in an envelope. Writing Cole's name on it she walked out of the room and went to his room. Sliding it under the door she sighed. It was the next step to detach herself from him. It was better this way. She had to focus on the future. Cullen was probably waiting for her and she didn't want to be late. Running down the hall she went out of the hotel and to her bike to go meet Cullen. Time to train!

Cullen was in the parking lot waiting for Jasmine, looking more than a little impatient. He was just like he normally is when he is about to work out, wearing a pair of black sweatpants with his running shoes. The girl emerged from her room, and he watched her slip an envelope under somebody's door. She left him waiting because she was writing a love letter? His eyes harden when she approaches. There was no greeting. No smiles. "Hit the deck and give me 20. Legs extended, back straight. And so help me, if you even think I'm going to go easy on you because you got a pair of tits, I'm going to make you start over."
He circles around the girl, correcting her form here and there until he was satisfied. "You work with me, I have two rules. Don't make excuses, and show up ON TIME! You show up 5 minutes early, you're on time. You show up on time, you are late. You show up late, I will bust your ass! All. Day. Long!"
She would barely be given time to get to her feet before he was tossing a heavy-duty backpack into her arms. The backpack was weighted down so that it was easily about 60 pounds overweight. Picking up one that was nearly identical, he slips it on to his shoulders before taking off at a brisk pace. Cullen didn't jog. He ran. It wasn't a full-blown sprint, but he was a hard man to keep up with once he got moving. His path took him straight into the woods surrounding Sturgis, taking advantage of the uneven terrain and natural obstacles to push Jasmine even harder. Leaping over the obstacles easily, he cut a steady path through the woods without even straining. His voice could be heard calling back to her after a few moments, "You hear that, girl. The Russians are here. They are coming for us. Nobody is safe, Jas. Not you. Not your friends. Not your damn dogs. Nobody! They need you, Jasmine. They need you to get to them. They need you to be ready to pull that trigger. Can you hear them, Ramirez?! They are screaming. They are screaming for help. What are you going to do, Ramirez? How far are you willing to go?"
Without warning, Cullen suddenly veered off the path to run even harder toward a building in the distance. The muffled sounds of gunfire could be heard as he approaches the range. There was no time given to catch her breath. Cullen simply dropped his backpack to the ground, taking out a pair of Sig P226 handguns. One of them was tossed over to Jasmine without hardly slowing down. The arrangements had already been made with the owner of the range, allowing him to walk straight through to the firing area. Motioning for her to go through the course, there were several obstacles for her to deal with. He instructed her on taking cover, firing from cover, and moving from cover to cover. Targets would spring up randomly, forcing her to quickly identify between hostile and civilian targets. The entire time, Cullen didn't let up, "They are coming for you, Ramirez. Those puppies you think you're going to protect you? They've just been shot in the heads. That blonde you're always running with? Yeah, she's screaming for you. This isn't the movies, Ramirez. They won't just tie her up and leave her. They won't hesitate to run a train on her ass. And if you aren't careful, they will make you watch. You have to be prepared. Always. Or you will lose everything. It's time to put the ponies and Barbie dolls away, Ramirez! Are you prepared to step up?!"
He waited until she was finally done with the course, knowing full well that she was going to hit a couple of those civilian targets. Everybody does the first time. Even he did. Approaching her slowly, his eyes finally softened slightly as his voice finally takes on a more tender quality to it, "The time for games are over. We can't afford any more mistakes. If we can't start working as a team, we are all going to get killed. And it starts with you. You have to prove that I can count on you. You need to get your priorities straight, right now. Stop worrying about who is in bed with you. Start thinking about how we are going to keep this club alive. We are done for today. See you tomorrow morning."
Not waiting for a response to his words, he walks out of the gun range, picking up his backpack on the way. It was slipped back onto his shoulders before taking off back toward the hotel, leaving Jasmine to think about what he said while she figured out her own way back.

He had been looking for the new next thing and even watched some midget bowling, when he got back to his room he noticed the envelope and sat reading it. Brow raised on one side and part of the time scratching his head then his chin but he supposed he understood and nodded. That was intresting but he had no clue what he was supposed to do now.Did you right a letter to the letter? Or just keep quiet about it and pretend none of it all ever happened? Cole sighed and decided he wouldn't ask her about it and just be ok with them being friends and club-mates she would do what she felt was best and so would he. Letter tucked into his bag and after grabbing a bottle of water back out for the day he went.

As soon as she stepped out those doors and saw Cullen she gasped and looked up at him. It hadn't been a love letter. It was an apology. Call her chicken for not facing Cole but it was easier. But she hadn't really had time to say anything before she heard his order. Dropping down immeadiately she started to do the push ups. Back completely ram rod and legs extended. She had signed up for this and knew it wasn't going to be easy. She didn't want it that way. His voice made her nod. Each time she completed a push up she marked it off in her head. "Yes sir." She replied to the being on time remark. Tomorrow she would make sure she was earlier for their session.
Once she got to her feet the pack hit her in the chest and Cullen was slipping his on and taking off. Putting hers on she followed suit running right behind. The terrain wasn't something she was use to. She would have to change that and start running with Lacey out here. The obstacles, she wasn't ready for them either. Stumbling just a bit she continued her pace to catch up to Cullen. When he said the Russians were here she didn't panic. When screams were brought up she shook her head not letting it get to her. She was willingly to die for this and she was going to prove herself. The faint sound of gunfire in the distance however caught her attention making her stumble once more. She caught herself continuing towards the sounds. Finally able to catch up to Cullen she dropped her pack seeing his gone only to nearly drop the gun he threw at her.
She caught the gun and headed straight into the course. It was hard to hear his commands over the gun fire but she did her best to make sure she followed every single one. She took cover and fired when the first target appeared. Of course she hit the civilian first making her curse. That's how it went. When she could identify the difference she got a bit better but still hit a few civilians. Hearing him talk about Lacey's dogs getting shot made her angry. They weren't guard dogs and weren't meant for protection. In her mind the sound of Lacey's scream made her miss her next shot. She moved to the next target. The picture of Lacey being tied up pissed her off. She moved quicker making sure to fire better this time. The club needed her to be stronger. Finishing the course she could feel her lungs burning. A thousand fires being set at once making her pant. The sweat was close to rain. Cullen approached and she stood straight up. "Yes sir." Was all she said when he was done. She picked up her pack and took it back through the woods to the hotel.
