D sighed as she pulled up in front of kanti's yet again, this time she would be sure to make sure the girl didn't chicken out. Once they got to the office she nodded to Dr Dan and sat in the chair next to her while she laid on the bed. Letting her mind float away while this all went down because she didn't want to think about what was going on in her presence. The sound of Kanti crying softly broke her heart but she would be done soon and it would be the best for all involved. Once it was over and they had been given time for her to dress and swallow the pills prescribed to help with pain and possible after effects she helped the small and very quiet fin into the truck. Sliding the Doc the envelope with a bit extra in thanks and a hug, she returned to drive the woman home. Helping her up her stairs settling her with juice and tv and a blanket.
They looked at each other then and she gave her what she could for a smile. There weren't many words to be said and D eventually just sat next to her for an hour watching tv and getting her tissues for her occasional tears. When Kanti decided to sleep she nodded and told her shed let her but that if she needed anything to call. It was then Kanti told her she needed some time away and would go to a place in Pasadena for a couple days to clear her head. That the bus tickets were already brought and a cab would be by later that night to get her. Nodding one last hug was offered and she went , to her car.
Starting the truck she pulled off and headed for home, but found her self needing to pull over part way there. Tears fell because she knew no one was there to see this soft moment, this purely female feeling. Pulling her self together and making a text. She finally pulled back onto the street and went home.
