The meetings nights ago had ended.. well... rudely. He wished his brother had been less adamant about security, but he hadn't seen the harm. Now the three of them, Matt, their lieutenant (and adopted brother) Chris, and himself had scattered after meeting the next day.
He spoke in length about what should be done. Reprimanding Chris with several blows to the face for his arrogance. He didnt really think he said anything wrong, but he did understand how it was misunderstood. He'd made Matt promise not to do anything rash and then left. Cleaning up their operations to pull to the outskirts, since he didnt want his contacts caught in retaliation or crossfire from the groups currently in the city.
Today was another day and he had decided to try and find her. He went to the different places, thougj he did NOT go by the cludhouse. She was nowhere to be found. No calls, not home. He furrowed brows a moment and then headed back to his car. Letting the driver open the door for him this time he slipped inside. Across the city he drove, a few drinks down he decided it'd be best to leave before he did something unintelligent.
He made a call to Matt and Chris and headed back to his hotel. A man tossed his few bags into the car as Alex never stepped out. Onto the airport he went. Driven out and to the private hangar they had rented, his things were boarded and he strolled up the steps. Perhaps she'd visit, he didnt know, but he'd wasted the business side of things here. This was Matts coast, he'd leave him to his devices. Personally he wasn sure, it'd been all quiet and so he boarded their jet and strapped in.
He missed home, he missed New York. He had a few proposals to draft up, maybe the Russians could use their help and he couls get them to back down more in New York. Only time would tell. His plane taxied out and engines wound up. The jet launched forward and into the air quickly. He lean his head back and took a deep breath as he closed his eyes. It was going to be a long flight...
